We’re looking for a motivated and capable Forklift Mechanic / Field Service Technician to join our growing team.

Whether you’re an experienced forklift technician or a qualified mechanic looking to transition into the forklift industry, we’d love to hear from you. If you’ve got strong mechanical skills, diagnostic experience and a willingness to learn, we can provide the industry-specific training.

This is a mobile field service role where you’ll enjoy variety, autonomy and direct customer interaction while working on a wide range of forklift equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on forklifts.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Attending customer breakdowns and providing effective solutions on-site.
• Building strong relationships with customers through professional and friendly service.
• Completing service reports and invoices using our easy-to-use service app.
• Assisting with the preparation of repair quotations and recommendations.
• Working independently while having the full support of an experienced team behind you.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using mobile technology.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Highly Regarded (But Not Essential)

• Previous forklift repair experience.
• LPG qualification.
• Forklift licence.
• Hydraulic systems experience.
• Auto electrical experience.
